What is "AMEPS"

AMEPS stands for “Asian Manufacturers of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS).”

AMEPS was formed in 1994 and has now expanded to included 14 members across the Asia Pacific region. One of the major areas of work that AMEPS has been actively involved in is the establishment and promotion of EPS recycling associations within each member country with the goal of increasing the recycling of EPS across Asia.

Special Project Team(SPT)

Recognizing the need to organize a mobile group to tackle special projects related to EPS recycling within the Asian region,the AMEPS Board of Directors decided to form the special project team.
The team is composed of responsible persons selected from among AMEPS members.


The Main Objective of the SPT

To help Non-AMEPS countries organize their own EPS recycling Association in order to enhance the activities of EPS recycling,and eventually by integrate them into AMEPS.

Activities
SPT formed to assist non-member countries organize their association and join AMEPS.

"Poly Bear" is a brand new mascot of AMEPS Recycling Activities, inspired by the white and environmental symbolic Polar Bear.

Poly Bear was created by Ms. Kin-Chun Ip of REPSA, Australia.
